The boating industry displays its splendour and markets itself throughout the world in many different ways, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors to organised events every year. Some examples are:-

Boat Jumbles
The boater’s version of a “boot sale”. Boat jumbles are where the private seller and, usually, smaller companies can display their wares and provide the buyer with bargains on pre-owned goods and new products. These take place not just at coastal areas but at many inland venues making use of farmer’s fields to covered buildings such as school/college halls.

Regattas
Boat events like regattas can provide a great day out. Regatta is a term used to describe a boat race or races mostly of the sailing variety however powered boats often get included.
